I'm not happy with Chinese public views on this.

Almost everyone in the Tiktok comment section is saying this mission is failed though CCTV reports it's a success. Many even argue that China is learning from India, propagating failures to success. And ask CCTV to stay honest.

Public knowledge is so limited, that they believe recovery is failed unless the rocket is down on a pad/boat. If it's down on water, then that's not success. Apparently no one in the comment section knows down on water is a routine in initial tests, especially for pioneers like SpaceX. Meanwhile, CCTV don't explain these knowledge & regulations to the public so far, which brings more confusion.

We all know it's indeed a success. The company never prepared a pad. Instead, salvage ships were stand by before rocket launched. But public's negative response made me sad. :(
we have many liberals and clowns in our society.. better to ignore and these platforms aren't for rational discussion.

and if you want to stay happy and stress free, never visit these social media platforms.

For example, under this video, you can see many are laughing at its failure. The comments are intense here.
You can't get Chinese views from Tiktok comments. Tiktok is a platform in the west and therefor reflects primarily western and worst of all even Indian views.

Rumor has it that the previous subsystem used foreign components and parts. To avoid potential sanctions in the future, it has been redesigned and implemented with a purely domestic solution.
The rumor doesn't make sense. This telescope is an one time built, if the supposed foreign components are already in Chinese hand, sanction won't have any impact. If there is a future extra to be built, it is not late to switch components then.

Unless, the sanction kicked in some years ago before all foreign component were imported.

I'm referring to Douyin, which is the Chinese version of TikTok, also owned by ByteDance. Like Weibo, it's a major social media platform in China. Has hundreds of millions of Chinese online users every day.

Thankfully, Tiktok is banned in India :D. Of course, there are still some Jai Hinds, but it would be a lot worse if India didn't ban Tiktok.

Regarding research and development, a small number of foreign subsystems are insufficient to meet the needs of satellite development and ground simulation tests. This information surfaced sometime in 2022-2023.
Additionally, the sky-surveying telescope was designed from the outset to operate in a co-orbital configuration with the Tiangong space station, and it can dock with the station for maintenance. Therefore, critical components must remain accessible and maintainable (as the entire system was explicitly designed for in-orbit upgrades and servicing). Having essential components strangled by supply chain restrictions is inconsistent with China's objectives. Should critical parts become restricted, subsequent replacements would be impossible, drastically reducing the operational lifespan and significantly increasing usage costs.

But China space industry has been sanctioned for decades now. So I don't understand where this critical components would have from. One xould have expected them to use indeginious components from the beginning since the country's space industry has been under US sanctions for a long time now. So I don't understand
