I suspect current international students all need a backup plan if they don't want to be sent to a death camp within 6 month, because you just know Trump will at this rate cancel all student visas before the year is up.

Ignoring American inability to execute, I think this is a great idea, the countries that gets dragged via treaty into war with China can't actually contribute much to the US, but they can contribute a lot to China by offering up their islands or homeland to China, e.g. A Chinese occupation of Australia would have a lot better optics if its in response to Australia declaring war on China.

We just heard from blow-with-the-wind Elizabeth Economy admit Trump's tariffs on China was a negative on the US economy but Biden continued it because like I recall years ago mentioning in here that Biden and the Democrats were more concern about looking like they were in league with China and the Republicans were going to exploit it. Damn what best for the US and Americans. So the only thing Democrats have that they can say is theirs is DEI. I'm not talking the feel-good-including-everyone front they hide it behind to get everyone on board. I'm talking what they were actually practicing and only looking out for special interests of a select few people and groups who were all victims of Western culture and not anyone else. The world has to pay for Western liberal guilt. They wanted to spread their DEI around the world trying to push only a very exclusively Western cultural faction of ideals onto everyone else. Everything else... the Democrats followed the Republicans' lead. And look how that basically torpedoed their chances of winning the Presidential election. What's Rahm Emanuel going to bring? Hoping the Jews go Democrat like they did with Trump? Yes ignore everyone else... again. That's why they lost the Muslim vote in Michigan. Their logic was what other choice do they have... Trump? And they did choose him. That same thing happened with most other major groups they chose to ignore.

The new chinese marriage law is extremely dumb if the goal is to boost birth rate. Make it extremely easy to get married and difficult to get divorced. Then how about welfare for women in abusive marraiges??? And why would women get married if divorce is so difficult??? Now they would think a lot harder before comitting, and rightly so.
