Allow me to reiterate that they didn't say "WS-19's thrust is 1.X tonnes off an AL-31F variant" but rather "WS-19's thrust is comparable to high-thrust class engines," most likely at or above the level of early F100/F110/AL-31F variants.

If that's the case, then 120kN it is! I'm picking the AL-31F cuz China has no experience with the other two.

Let's remember that the WS-19 likely spits out more power than the F110-GE-400 with a package the size of an RD-33 (kinda confirmed by the Guancha trio too).

That means the WS-19 basically achieved what the F414-EPE was meant to be. And we don't even know whether the F414-EPE is still a thing, as of today.

Also, while the F414-EPE is a further developed variant of the F414, the WS-19 is a brand-new model. There is massive potetial for the WS-19 to iterate, improve and upgrade further in the coming years, just like how the WS-10 family came to be for the past two decades.

With the WS-19, the J-35/As and any (high-tier/loyal wingman-type) UCAVs are going to be one hell of light-weight and medium-weight flying acrobats.

Technically the EJ270 is closer to the WS-19 but yes.

As per official power point slides from WS-19 chief designer Huang Weina the maximum thrust performance of WS-19 will be in same ballpark as EJ-200. Kee in mind that this does not make it a less advanced or potent engine. Maximum thrust is not end all of engine design.

Can anyone help and correct or complement this chart?

that is during 10th Annual China Aerospace Propulsion Technology Forum back in 2022 .. a lot things changed since then

words from Chief designer is the ultimate. but the advancement of China's material and precision manufacturing in past few years could made it possible that, they have increased the thrust without major change in the overall design and dimension.. this is now confirmed by Guancha trio. these people are highly trustable.

100 percent agreed.

even with its designed thrust, WS-19 will be a very potent Engine. maximum thrust doesn't describe the actual quality of a machine.

That's not the WS-19 though. It's the WS-19's program demonstrator, which is this (or some close iteration of):

The prototype of the actual WS-19 is pretty different (think the XG-40 vs the EJ200/220/270)
