I think people are confusing the back bulkhead with the array face
Also Ku band phased array element spacing is physics, that's locked in and it's definitely not SAM
And I mean do you really think it's even remotely possible for someone other than India to post the wreck of a Chinese missile AESA?

The original poster was on Xiaohongshu no? And what we can see of the seeker in other photos does not match the picture with the 600 TRMs.

New satellite imagery of the post-attack Nur Khan Airbase of the PAF, taken about 9 hours ago.

No significant damages observed on the base facilities (apart from perhaps a blown-up fuel truck), with many PAF aircrafts likely been evacuated before Indian strike missiles arrived.

Imagine after the dust settles its discovered all these so called attacks didn't do much in the end and yet India still signed the ceasefire thinking it did something big. Its basically getting scammed into thinking it was signing a good deal when it was actually getting little for it.

You figure with how they are so good at swindling others, they would be experts at it and not get swindled themselves.

Still the large 600 TRM seeker with some TRMs attached do not match these pictures leading me to believe that one is not from a PL-15. If you could the mounting holes here you'll find 192 holes much less than 600. It seems people have been mixing all these pics together leading some to believe they are all PL-15 parts. Also IMO first time I saw the Ku band element was with the large 600 TRM seeker so that might also not be a part of the PL-15 as well
The ~600 radiating elements are on the front face, the 192 hole side is clearly the back face from the TRM photo, layout pattern also matches exactly. The back face holes are likely high speed data feeds into the TRM, with each module enclosing multiple front end each driven by it's own data feed. There are photos of both front and back face, but they're the same thing.

I'd also want to remind once again just how insane it would be for anyone other than India to post photo of the remain of a highly classified Chinese missile AESA on the internet prior to this, regardless of missile.

For reference.

Speaking of that night engagement, based on the audio, it seems like the squadron lead had no clue about the disappearance of his wingman. Couldn't his radar also see the incoming PL-15 coming towards the planes?

Apart from small RCS, if the missiles were coming from outside of the roughly 60 degree detection cone they won't see it too. Which is very likely if they were hit while returning

That's why AWACS are so important, if they really went without AWACS it would be the height of folly among many of their mistakes
