TSMC has all the cards here against the US because they have near monopoly status in high end chips. US can’t deny them chip making tools because it will damage US chip companies like Nvidia that need to stay ahead of China’s fast rise in the sector. TSMC should refuse and play hardball. US needs TSMC far more than TSMC needs US.

Let's see if Jensen Huang actually has a spine. I have my doubts. My friends referred to Taiwanese-Americans as 'Super Passive Asian Males', or SPAM, so I rather doubt Jensen Huang got the guts to defy his white superiors.

They are trying to close the loop hole for currency manipulation and at the same time probably trying to crash the US dollar. So the US product can be competitive in the global markets. It looks like it is the direction they are taking. Killing a couple of birds with a single stone.
The way I see it. The US dollar will appreciate into the stratosphere while other Nation currencies will depreciate in the end it will offset the Trump Tariffs. Making it kinda moot and idiotic. In conclusion, I don't think China is dumping the US dollars.
LOL sleepy, way to contradict yourself in a span of 20 minutes.

Correct me if I am wrong, but wouldn’t this crush American purchasing power, the very thing that Trump is relying on to make a deal? This is akin to MAGA making America a third world country while giving the finger to everyone else.

I don’t know man, this is either going to prove the Simpsons ability to predict the future or we are at the beginnings of Cyberpunk

Don't use logic and common sense in deciphering what they are trying to do or plan.

People are confused because both paths lead to US impoverishment thanks to Trump.
If stocks falling and yields are rising... people don't want the dollar. They're fleeing.

Getting to the event horizon where no matter what the Fed tries to do, it'll just lower confidence in America in general.
Of course, if they get rid of Trump the Mad King, it'll boost confidence again.
