Wouldn't it be better to sign a parallel CPTPP with the same terms as but without the Anglo countries. Or upgrade the RCEP up to the same terms if the other partners are agreeable.

CPTPP already includes a range of countries like Australia, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore, the United Kingdom, and Vietnam. This is a good chance of isolating the US from the world's trading system.

Ben Norton's deep analysis of Trump's "reciprocal" tariffs. I know these are long vids, but I usually watch them at 1.5-1.75x speed. You get used to the speeds, eventually.
