Video/Computer Games

I just bought and started playing Modern Warfare 2 for the PC... wow! Undercover as a bad guy mowing down people at an airport... Invasion USA... Fighting off Russians in a Burger King parking lot....

BTW, does anyone have an opinion on video versus computer games? Yeah I know video game consoles rule but I've seen the PS3 on a HDTV but for some reason I think the graphics look better on a good PC game machine. Yeah I know the PS3 and others probably runs smoother and it's cheaper than a PC system but to me it still looks more cartoonish with a game console.

all consoles should be burned to a crisp and their ashes stuffed down their owner's throats. Is that opinionated enough for you? :)

Each has their pros and Cons. IMO it depends on the type of game one is playing and the ambience one wants to create.
Anyway who wants to play "Rock Band" or "Guitar Hero" on a PC:)

no lean.... no lean.... no lean.... no lean.... no lean.... no lean.... no lean.... no lean....

how can you make a CoD game without lean? they destroyed a perfectly good PC community.

imo ArmA2 has better replay value than MW2.

I personally like the single player campaigns. Not really into multiplayer which is all the rage. As with the first Modern Warfare, the single player campaign in the new one is short as well.

Rock Band and Guitar Hero... personally I don't get it. If it actually let you learn the basics on playing an instrument then I'd be interested. But to me it's just a lot button-pushing hand/eye coordination.

Learning to drum aint bad.

Its a good party activity with room for several participants and with the singing, its like doing karaoake

I prefer console games, because you can plug the console into the living room flat screen, while computers are in the study or room - far less of a comfortable environment to play in.
And I find computer games to be quite limited, to me they're all strategy games or the generic first person shooter.

I heard Modern Warfare 2 sold over 7 million in one day. That's got to be a super hit.
