When Pakistan gets them will PAF be able to make then AMRAAM compatible?

Pakistan hopes to receive first a NOC from the US and then made them AMRAAM compatible (as a package).

The point is how Iraq was able to obtain Chinese weapons if the US had such strict supervision over Iraq's reserves and expenditures.

Fighter aircraft is different from drones/armored vehicles/small arms though. I think if the US really wanted they could kill the JF-17 deal with Iraq just like they did with the Argentina deal.
JF17 deal is also a barter, 16 JF17s (yet to confirm which BLK) for 12 F16s (BLK52).
Then why they're letting this thing to linger on?
I personally suspect the Yanks want them JF-17 for themselves ... for false flag Ops perhaps .
