That's a weird layout... will be interesting to see if they have some arresting system for landing. Beside small and slow planes, cannot see anything landing conventionally without arresting system. Also, I cannot see a small propeller driven manned plane lifthing up from the jump.

the simplest thing to do now is to wait, surely the IRGC who will manage this ship, when it is operational, will certainly let us know with photos and videos.
As an example, I would like to remind you that nine years ago an ultralight "BlackShape" aircraft took off from the Italian aircraft carrier Cavour for test purposes without using the trampoline and made a subsequent landing.

The ultralight didn't use the jump to lift off, would have hit it with the propeller. Bushplanes can land and lift-off on a tennis court with good head wind...

That retrofitted cargo ship have not the speed capacity of a military ship. The presence of the jump is even more important but also arresting gear for faster conventional aircrafts. We will see what they are up to but it's a strange fitting... Stobar on a slow ship...

Iran showed footage of the launch and flights of Karrar reconnaissance and strike UAVs. The Karrar drone was developed in 2009 and has since been modernized several times. The Karrar UAV belongs to the class of reconnaissance and strike drones with a turbojet engine. The Karrar drone was allegedly developed based on the American unmanned target Beechcraft MQM-107 Streaker. The drone has a variety of weapons, from Mark 82 missiles and bombs, to six-barreled 7.62 caliber machine guns. The drone has also developed Majid air-to-air missiles with a range of eight kilometers and Nasr-1 and Kowsar anti-ship missiles. In addition, the UAV can also be used as a kamikaze drone, and radar reconnaissance equipment can also be installed on it. The drone can fly at speeds of up to 900 km/h over a range of up to 1000 km, at a flight altitude of up to 9000 meters.

With an elevator and change to the interior layout, they could do something usefull and even make some descent airplane liftoff. I could see that ship with some aircrafts on deck for one way attack just for show. Maybe they will be interested with Yak-141.
Maybe they can also make it submersible like the I-400. Launch UAV.

Another merchant vessel is altered to serve as a mothership, or support ship.

The ship is smaller than the Makran 441, but it has the same helipad arrangement. The distinction is that this hole (red circle) may be utilized to make an elevator, which will enable any drones or helicopters to be brought to the hangar that is located underneath.
