The White House threw cold water on a report published Wednesday in the Wall Street Journal regarding an agreement on the general outline of an Israeli-Saudi Arabia normalization deal.
On Wednesday, the Wall Street journal reported that U.S. officials said Israel will make concessions to the Palestinians in order to facilitate the agreement. Those same officials estimated that a normalization deal between the two countries can be reached within nine to 12 months, though the report adds that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is in no rush to reach a deal.
Shortly after, the White House clarified that a general outline hasn't been agreed upon.
"Quite frankly, just to be blunt here, I think the reporting has left some people with the impression that the discussions are farther along and closer to some sense of certainty than they actually are," National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby said.
Kirby added that "There are still a lot of conversations that have to occur before we get there. Bottom line: there's no agreed-to set of negotiations, there's no agreed-to framework to codify normalization or any of the other security considerations that we and our friends have in the region. But there is a commitment by the administration to keep talking and to keep trying to move things forward."
They want keep prices reasonable so even US shale firms can make money. Arabs are invested in US refineries and firms. so they need steady supply of crude to operate them.
technically Iran also helped countries like Venezuela and others in restoring production so there is that extra oil.

The overall outline make sense from Arab interests not the Israeli part which is more public relation. JS still in Gulf after Saudi ukraine conference where every one was basically forced to show up.
What US can offer to Gulf Arabs no one else. you can already see after Iran and Saudi agreement more Pentagon forces have moved to Gulf countries. US can provide Arab dominance over Africa and Europe. This not minor thing.
This whole food and agriculture trade of North and Latin America can be reshaped by Arabs once it has full US backing. I will even go one step further. if Tomorrow Turkiye wants to buy F-16 from US. US can sell them at such price that Turks will always have its hands open in front of Arabs. US can control Pakistan on behalf of Arabs so that it never over step against Arab interests. there is much more that some i cannot remember and some not want to write.
Why were they importing junk components when they have far superior QCed components domestically? I sense that there is a lot of corruption at work.
The scary part is if these guys were not entrapped, how much un/warranted observations are they doing of Chinese-Americans. The situation could be:
1. They were entrapped in a sting on Chinese Americans in the military/federal gov
2. They had the Chinese intelligence officer on the radar which lead to these 2.
3. There is some wide listening/tapping of all Chinese or Americans
I wonder how these 2 guys thought they could get away with it especially in these hysterical times. Maybe they are completely ignorant of the current geopolitical tension somehow or kinda have low iq (traditional targets of entrapments) ? I wonder if we are the fringe group in terms of the over consumption of china vs usa geopolitical news and are hyper aware?
