HK and Chinese news agencies report a F-22 being shot down over Fujian by 2 J-10s after being detected by PLA ground radar.

it's a spin by Chinese media

the F-22 had actually crashed because of OBOGS problem causing the pilot to lose consciousness, by the time the J-10s arrived at the coordinates
PLA then retrieved the remains of the F-22, and it had since greatly benefited fifth gen fighter research in China, that's why you see J-20 and J-21 after 2011

the pilot however, remains missing, most probably under severe torture and reeducation, or perhaps enjoying his time with Fujian/Taiwan street snacks and delicacies

There have been no unaccounted for F-22 losses. There are only a fixed number of them and so any loss would be immediately noticed by the public, the families, etc. The F-22 is probably the most watched and studied aircraft the US has, and only occassionally and for short periods to this date have they even been rotated off shore.

Nothing remotely resembling thios has occurred...and if it came down to it, I am sorry but an armed F-22 would take down two J-10s. It's scoring 4 and 5 to 1 victories regullarly against the best US and Allied aircraft sent up against it.

As it is, that is immaterial because this did not happen.

what? J-20 came out late 2010/early 2011, before this hypothetical incident occurred... (aside from the fact that this never happened)
