Can we have fewer stuck/pinned threads at the top of forums? Most of the pinned threads are many years old and closed. They are only there for archival purposes. I suggest moving those pinned threads to a separate forum, "Archived threads". It's unsightly to see so many dead threads at the top of a forum, and to have to scroll down to find the active ones.

Well, some of them, like forum rules and other informative threads from management will stay, even though they have not been responded to. They are not meant to, they are there for information.

But I agree that some others are old and I have been going about unsticking them. Say ones that are not Forum Admin Information, and which have not been responded to in over a year.

I will be working on the rules once more and we will have saperate page where rules are visible and linked, not in forum/thread list. The rules will for the most part be collection of guidelines we've come up over the years (consolidation of all the "rules" threads) and will closely mirror those at DefenceTalk.

I am having problems with Ipad/safari browser. It does not allow me to reply or edit messages. Chrome on Ipad works.

I don't know if this suggestion will be easy to prevent but I notice new members picking names that are extremely similar to a present member. It gets confusing sometimes. Maybe completely innocent but in some other forums I've seen it's sometimes done with some negative intent.

Can I suggest to increase the number of pictures allowed in a post from 5 to 10? It is quite inconvenient to have to segment the long post with lots of pictures into multiple posts - especially when replying to other user who already posted pictures and you quote their post those pictures in the post are counted!

Let's say User A posted 3 pictures and you reply to that post by quote and you want to explain your point with 3 of your own pictures but you can't! Because its over the limit of 5 pictures.

It is just very inconvenient and I just don't understand the reason behind limiting it.

I'd like to agree with ultra..

And.. I'd like to be able to upload a new avatar. Presently I cannot.

I did manage to upload one for popeye. But it is a no go for test bd.:(
