Firearms training in the PLAGF

I have a question about firearms training in the People's Liberation Army Ground Forces. What sort of drills and excercises are done? For how long? Where do they go to train? What are the expectations? How intense is the training? How does their training compare to the PAP? What small arms do they train with? Also if anybody happens to know, for Olympic shooting, China is a real powerhouse in the sport, are their shooters generally from the army?

well it depends on what unit you are talkin about. in general cat A units train like hell. they have a lot of ammo to spend and the requirement is pretty high as well. cat B units dont get that kind of stuff, which is y when war comes they'll have to train up for it whereas cat A troops can fight any time.
its different from smaller armed forces like the canadian forces, where a reservist can be marksman if he takes the course...but then again the CF is like 1/10 of PLA's cat A unit in size lol.
