Red Flag 2019: First Great Power Air War Test In Years
    (it's https://breakingdefense.com/2019/03/red-flag-2019-first-great-power-air-war-test-in-years/) ends with
(We have asked for the F-35’s kill ratio for this Red Flag and have not yet received it. The Air Force increasingly argues that the kill ratio isn’t as relevant for the F-35 as in days past because of the key role it plays in providing targeting information to fourth generation aircraft. The argument pretty much boils down to: who killed the enemy — the plane that detected it and targeted it or the plane that actually fired the weapon that killed it. We’ll take both sets of data, with the needed caveats. The Editor.)

Here, Ladies and Gentlemen is the one and only "Dojo", I could find NO confirmation about who had flown the RIAT flying display, and now we have the "guilty party" standing here, "surrounded" by the "Big Boss, and LockMarts Big Boss"!

That's a "million dollar smile", Dojo is the F-35A Demo Pilot, who will debut his flying display in a few days!

this "Dog" damn near turned that F-35A inside out at RIAT, now that is a "break-out turn", stay tuned....

Thank you Komrade Jura! you are a "Hero of the SDF!"

Brat was impressed, the demos showed that despite claims to the contrary F35 is not a lead sled.

That said I am less worried about the A2A and more about the A2G side. MSN is nice but if F35 is doing CAS it needs some missiles for that.
The Brimstone or JAGM for example. Something that could take the job of the old Maverick missile.

    ... p. 18 out of 99 in https://comptroller.defense.gov/Portals/45/Documents/defbudget/fy2020/fy2020_Weapons.pdf

    Procurement (excluding R&D) cost ($m / # of aircraft):
    FY2018 6505/56 =116
    FY2019 5267/56 = 94

    posted Jul 6, 2016
    2015 6675/38 = 176
    2016 9476/68 = 139
    2017 8286/63 = 132

    now, oops, would be
    4930/48 =103
according to FY2020 budget request, so let's wait and see

There's an awful lot to be happy about, number one is those SAM sites are gonna die in droves, we finally have an airplane equal to that challenge in numbers....

Looks like Mr. Olsen also flew in the Canadian International Airshow last summer, so the A baby is coming right along, "Dojo" makes it look easy, and the F-35 makes it easy, I had an older chap, and A-4 pilot tell me that wasn't a 9g "break out" at RIAT, but that's clearly what the announcer said, and that's part of the program this summer. An F-16, F-15, F-18, and for sure the F-14 would "eat your lunch", no way you could fly this show in any of those birds, at the beginning of that 9G turn, Dojo looks to be around 350 to 400 knts, after that hellacious 9G turn, the energy is gone, the nose is pointing way up, but the F-135 and that sweet little LockMart airframe, just go where you point em!

    that's very amazing!
