So those test pilots are putting out accurate, concise engineering reviews of the very fine F-35, when they find something they don't like, or can't work, with it gets fixed. To say that we have no idea what a fine little airplane this is??? is really not true,

My comments were not referring to the F-35 program but rather those other highly non transparent 5th gen programs which only release propaganda news and not all those problems one would expect coming from such highly complex programs.

On a another topic, if you recall a previous conversation that you were non receptive that the F-35 combat operations were build around a four plane formation. Here is an article from Air International that supports that view.

I might have been non-receptive at one time, but I do reset my MARK 1 noggin on a daily basis with the latest "UPGRADES", the Raptor is a two ship bird, the two ship has until now been the foundation of A2A combat, a lead and his wingman.

I would also remind you that the four ship- is a very LOOSE four ship, with considerable distance between each aircraft as they "quadrangulate" the battle space and divide up the "Turkey"??? LOL

If you could repost my former argument, I would like to see what I stated, or if you remember it?? please quote it in your next post??

I do occasionally read some of my old posts and think this guy is a genious, only to realize it was my post, and others and think this "idiot, doesn't have a clue???" only to turn red when I realize I wrote it??? LOL

Thanks for keep me "square" Mr. Brumby, I do "absolutely trust your integrity", even though we find ourselves on a different tack once in a while!

Heh! Heh!, well I was thinking of the F-22 primarily and did allow in the 3rd or 4th paragraph down, that the F-35 might very well be "optimized" in the four ship, or two F-22s, with two F-35s??, so I still stand by that post, I do think F-35s will continue to fly lots of two ships, prolly more two ships day to day than four ships??? I just think that will be the norm for combat air patrols as it always has been. and yes I do know about the four ship training that is ongoing as we speak.

but you are right!
