It's part of a alternative package for such, not used on US F16 models but you see them on polish, Oman, and I think Moroccan Vipers F16I also have something similar.

With the turret being spherical in shape, I wouldn't have pegged as being an IFF/EW antenna. But it's good know that such systems exist. I wonder whether it's an add-on to the Block-50/52 package.

Also, thank you for answering my question, I appreciate it.

Well it's not exactly spherical. It's more of a teardrop shape.
A version was on the Block 70 offering for India So you can see the profile of the "Goatee" shape.

note that It's an Air to ground system Air to Air systems are the tear drop shapes on the side of the nose and the sometimes seen Blades in front of the Cockpit.

^^ So does anyone have any idea what exactly that tiny round pod is?

I believe it's additional AN/ALQ-178 EW system antenna pod (maybe with some bells and whistles) just mounted underneath to enhance protection and redundancy to compliment existing ones found in other models mounted on the upper fuselage.

Really shows the Versatility of the Viper. The Raw numbers long ago eclipsed its Russian counterpart the Mig 29. I like to think of it as the M16 of Fighters with Mig 21 as the AKM of fighters.
