"Stoner says, its gonna get me home, I"m a HUGE Eagle Fan,,,,, F-22 #1 F-15 #2. why many of our friends are still buying F-15s, beefed up wing+1, upgraded avionics+2, lots of folks talk smack on the old girl??? big mistake to underestimate the Eagle, some folks who have a choice of the F-22 have stayed put in the Eagle, their is a reason! F-22 is a whole different ball-game, better, but requiring a "super-man" to max it out?? IMHO

video of this flyover (November 2014) was released (yesterday):
(I've been to New Orleans, once, like 13 years ago :)

Very nice four ship of Eagles forming up with two ThunderHogge IIs A models for a photo shoot, very sweet, and very nice slide under, formation flying is a LOT HARDER than you could ever dream, particularly in dissimilar aircraft. I have done it in our Cessna 150, following a Piper Cherokee Arrow, and an old C-170 who formed up on me, much easier being Lead.

Looks like the center line is plumbed for the 600 gallon tanks, which weigh in at 3600lbs of fuel plus the weight of the tank?? so 3800-4000 pounds of fuel on the center line and two outboard hard points that are plumbed, so approx. 14,000 lbs of external fuel, that give you some kool range in addition to internal fuel.
