As much as I agree with your posts, I think it's best to leave it be for this thread be.

Regardless of what the world should be like if thing were fair, each country is still self centred, and at the moment it suits the US fine to disperse its military forces the way it is around China, in fact one would argue it would be irresponsible if it did not.

Ultimately the military goal of most nations is to seek the ability to harm others will preventing others from harming yourself, but few nations truly achieve it.

I keep reading that they breached Taiwan's "ADIZ". Doesn't that make a difference between that, and breaching "territorial airspace"? Or is there no difference, and that's why most articles just shorten it to "breached Taiwan's airspace?"

"Breaching" an ADIZ is not the same as entering sovereign airspace and does not violate international law. Strange though that we did not see similar articles about US Aircraft "Breaching" China's ADIZ... Only about China's irresponsible intercept that followed. Very strange :)

Numerous posts have been moved to the Chinese Geopolitical Thread.

This thread is about the PRC East China Sea ADIZ,

Not about infringements into Taiwan airspace.
Not about general SIGINT, surveillance, or intelligence gathering missions by the US.
Not about power sharing in Sia.

Those posts are off topic here. If you are looking for those posts, check the other thread.

This as been explained numerous times. In the future, such OT posts on this thread. will be deleted

BEIJING, September 4 (ChinaMil) – The representative of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Korea (ROK) said that the ROK and Chinese militaries held a working meeting in Seoul, capital of the ROK, and this is the first time for the two militaries to hold such a meeting, according to the Voice of Russia.

The two sides extensively discussed the issues including preventing the unexpected events in the overlapped areas of the two countries’ respective air defense identification zones (ADIZ), the Voice of Russia reported.

During the meeting, director of the Strategic Planning Department of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee of the Armed Forces of the ROK and director of the Strategic Planning Department of the General Staff Headquarters (GSH) of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) agreed to strengthen the bilateral trust and carry out cooperation between the two militaries, the Voice of Russia mentioned.

The two sides also discussed the direct phone liaison work between the two countries’ navies and air forces, and the issue on how to prevent any possible conflict in the overlapped areas of the two countries’ ADIZ, according to the Voice of Russia.

The ROK government proclaimed in December 2013 its newly delimited ADIZ line in response to China’s ADIZ delimitation, which aimed to strengthen ROK’s sovereignty over the Suyan Islet and its neighboring islands in the East China Sea, the Voice of Russia reported.

The Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee of the Armed Forces of the ROK said that according to the meeting, the representatives of the two sides agreed to hold meetings on a regular basis, the Voice of Russia added.

These polls are usually surveyed with only around a thousand respondents. That's only the opinion from a handful of citizens surveyed, how media outlet use them to represent an entire nation of millions baffle me. Nevertheless the stand-offs arising from both Japan and China's overlapping ADIZ are increasing the tension between states.

I think we've gone way post OT here. Probably best to cease discussion and have a mod move the last few posts into a different thread.
