I started getting somewhat interested in American Football after entering the University of Michigan. (you kind of have to) This past season was absolutely... horrible, so that certainly dampened my enthusiasm for the bowl games.

On a related note, Detroit went 0-16. Geez.

Great game. Oklahoma had its chances...being down on the goal line twice but couldn't get it in.

Most of the game was a GREAT defensive battle, and Florida prevailed and kept it going all night.

Florida was able to get it in the end zone when it counted.

So they won.

And Tebow was great! That kid has drive, enthusiasm, talent, the will to come back after his two interceptions and is a great guy off the field. Total package.

We may see him and Bradford battle for it again...but Tebow was clearly the most impressive of the two last night.

Yeah Tebow is amazing, he is a role model to so many people not because of what he does on the field but of all the stuff he does off the field. I think Bradford might be trying to enter the NFL draft next year though, he more of pro-style football player compared to Tebow (who uses the spread offense more)

I honestly think that Tebow will do very well in the NFL.

He is a born leader, he is big and strong, he is very intelligent, he is tough, and he has plenty accurate enough arm. Get him in a decent NFL program and they will make him a great quarterback because he already has all of the material.

Perhaps one of the best...but we'll have to wait and see on that.

Bradford is an exceptional individual as well on and off the foield and is amazingly accurate. He will also do very well in the NFL...but I am not sure he is as durable, or quite as as strong a leader.

In my book..which is nearly 50 years old Tim Tebow is one of the greatest college offensive players of all times. He right up there with Tommie Frazier of Nebraska in the mid '90s. He can do it all. And he's a winner. I don't think he's the typical NFL quarterback. He'd be a great running back or even a tight end.

I will gop out on a limb and predict that Tebow will go into the NFL, probably not this year, but next year, and that, if he remains healthy, he will become one of the great NFL quarterbacks.
