Design a warship fun thread

To admit I'm not entirely sure if we should keep this thread here in the PLAN section; IMO it is a what-if modelling project, some sort of science fictional fun topic not specifically related to a true PLAN program and even if surely most interesting it might open the door for similar threads of "Future PLAAF 7th generation fighters", which I must admit do not want in the PLAAF section.

Therefore I kindly ask for your opinion on where to move it...

Er... could do do a vote on what sort of content is welcome where? Or must it be decided by moderators?

Please, that was no offence ...

Not necessarily but as my job to - at least try - to keep the forum in line I think that such a speculative thread is not directly related to "Forum for China navy, Chinese naval forces news. Discuss Chinese navy (PLAN) aircraft carrier, warships and other naval weapon systems" as it is called in the description.

This thread as well as Jura's warship armament thread should probably both be relocated to the member's club room or world armed forces.

Naturally, I'd prefer if it would be in a place where it could get as many views possible... Not that anyone did comment on my own, initial, post here.

oops I noticed while not logged on yet (I wouldn't follow a thread with BUNK like
EM guns have for the most part solved the short barrel life issue and are now not lagging that much behind regular guns in that regard. ...
Totoro
how would know "barrel life" of a railgun,
from General Atomics soooooo cooooool vid,
or from the picture of the Yangtze River Cabin LOL
?!)

what

mentioned is
The Main-Armament Level Of Warships Entering Service https://www.sinodefenceforum.com/the-main-armament-level-of-warships-entering-service.t8175/
and it has a direct relevance to PLAN through three points included in
warships5.jpg

the square represents 1.0 k-displacing Project 21631 (so called Buyan-M with eight so called Kalibrs: if you want to nitpick or don't know what I talk about, please skip reading this); 8 tubes in total

the circle symbol represents 2.5 k-displacing Project 20385 (8 Kalibrs, 16 cells of so called Redut: again, don't nitpick!); 24 tubes in total

the upward-pointing triangle symbol represents 3.6 k-displacing Incheon-II (8 Korean AShMs, 16 cells Korean VLS); 24 tubes in total

the downward-pointing triangle symbol represents 4.0 k-displacing Project 11356 (8 Kalibrs, 16 cells of so called Shtil: again, don't nitpick!); 32 tubes in total

the diamond symbol represents 4.1 k-displacing Type 054A (32 cells VLS; 8xC-803); 40 tubes in total

the left-pointing triangle symbol represents 5.4 k-displacing Project 22350 (16 Kalibrs, 32 cells of Redut: don't start nitpicking here); 48 tubes in total

the right-pointing triangle symbol represents 5.5 k-displacing KDX-II (32 cells of Mk 41 VLS, 32 cells of Korean VLS, 8 Korean AShMs); 72 tubes in total

the hexagon symbol represents 7.5 k-displacing Type 052D (64 cells VLS); 64 tubes in total

the star symbols represents 11.0 k-displacing KDX-III (80 cells of Mk 41 VLS, 32 cells of Korean VLS, 16 Korean AShMs); 144 tubes in total

and finally, the pentagon (sorry! LOL) symbol represents 12 k-displacing Type 055 with 112 cells VLS, 112 tubes in total

as you can see below, these ships MORE OR LESS follow the trend of ten tubes per one thousand metric tons of full displacement; they're WARSHIPS
but whatever, if I had been a Mod, I would've deleted
Design a warship fun thread
there's enough places in Internet for posting nonsense fun!

My design for a modern escort carrier. Reshaped the deck layout so that the launching part is angled instead of the landing part.

Curious with no angle deck. As someone that actually worked on the flight deck on three USN CVs I think without an angle deck so when aircraft bolter there's a possibility of aircrfat veering off course and striking flight deck personnel and damaging and or destroying aircraft. However on this ship the number of aircraft is small so the possibility of those type crashes is diminished.
