It looks like the second batch of J-15s are not on the CV.

First I think you should explain what you mean with second batch since so far all J-15s delivered are from batch 01 and 02 and given their serials are indeed from one of those two older batches.

Or you need to explain what you mean with "the second batch of J-15s are not on the CV"!??

What I really meant was the third batch. It seems like they don't even have the next 24 planes for the CV-17. If the first 24 planes are for training purposes, and the next 24 planes are not here yet, then where is the their combat ability?

That's indeed a point especially since so far no. Batch 03 aircraft has been confirmed

A Chinese aircraft carrier passed through the Taiwan Strait on Sunday to conduct scientific research tests and routine training in relevant waters of the South China Sea, according to a spokesperson for the People's Liberation Army (PLA) Navy.
