And except for the island, Liaoning seems to have Russian armaments
The front model is to be Type 001A, the rear Liaoning. Both have the same island length, the special features of Type 001A are not considered. Forget these computer graphics.

I don't think so. If this deck could hold even a single additional J-15 compared to CV-16 I would be surprised. The additional deck space afforded by the smaller island may be enough for only an additional helo, and the deletion of the Kinzhal launchers in the back and adding their floor area will be insufficient to add another J-15.

Look again:

The space in front of the island can almost fit a J-15 right now, the addition will certainly allow it to fit one instead of a helo, though not in addition to. I'm not too sure about the back, but if they rearrange things a bit they might be able to add another.

Externally, the differences between these two ships are minor, and smaller than the differences often found between sister ships of the same class in many other navies, for example between different ships of the Nimitz class. So based on external layout alone, it is reasonable to assign both of these ships to the same class.

You think she have same propulsion, turbines with a power of 200000 hp as Liaoning ?
