At this time, the Brazilians had no operational aircraft carrier. I suspect that they wanted to open up new sources of money to continue the repair work of Sao Paulo - which never happend.

I did a little research and the article posted by ILikeChina is quote by numerous sources. Is it real or memorex? I'm really skeptical..in fact I find this very difficult to believe.

The question is if this is a reality what will Pakistan do with this ship? They have zero experience or associated aircraft and support equipment let alone trained personnel to operate an aircraft carrier.

Well it would not be the first time China proposed a weapons sales to Pakistan which they found to be too much for their economy.
I think Pakistan has enough issues. Submarines yes, but carriers?

Sao Paulo, a Clemencau-type French carrier, arrived in the country in 2001. A May 2004 fire in the engine room killed three crew members. A second fire on February 2012 killed another sailor.
In June 2009 speaking about the time between 2001 und 2004 is not impossible.

Complete garbage. The original source was written by an Indian analyst who doesn't know anything he's writing about.
I'd say an idiot, not analyst.

An official media report separately disclosed that China has planned to carry out a “large-scale upgrade” of China’s first aircraft carrier, the Liaoning, and “sell it to Pakistan to compete with India”! It described Pakistan “as the best destination for it” and said that by then the Liaoning, which was commissioned into the PLAN in September 2012, will have served the Chinese Navy for about 18 years. Gwadar and Karachi are already described by Chinese Navy strategists as a “logistics base” and “PLA Navy (PLAN) base” respectively.

Math failed.. 2012 + 18 is 2030 not 2020 like what the article said. Anyway nobody knows the geostrategic future especially over 10 yrs out.. it's certainly is possible that Liaoning may see herself serving the PN after 2030. The economy is booming and their defence expenditure is projected to keep increasing substantially. Perhaps not strike fighters but she could be repurpose for all helo operations doing maily ASW work.

Not to get too off-topic, but this is one of the reasons CPEC is so important to China's future strategic plans - Pakistan has to be in a position to afford the sort of kit China wants to outfit it with. I think Pakistani carriers (probably hand-me-down Liaoning and 002) are a definite possibility in a couple of decades.

Is there any other kind?
