Criticism of American military budget

I thought this should be brought, does anyone on this forum agree with the points presented.

Personally i'm a bit surprised that such articles on the issue aren't written more often.

There have been critics, such as Chalmers Johnson, who have been saying the same. But they usually don't make it to the mainstream. Either way, this is pretty political.

It sure is..Let's close this thread before it does get political. There are ways to discuss the monsterous US DoD budget without getting political.
