These racists will get it one day.
What is racist about the news regarding the virus?
It is spreading quickly.
Coronavirus spreads to Beijing as China confirms 139 new cases
The unfortunate timing of the annual migration leading to the Lunar holidays will add to the problem.
These sorts of things rarely happen in India, another nation with a huge population and even greater density. How come? It's not an issue of sanitation or hygiene that's for sure. I'm going to guess it's because most Indians do not consume much meat. This latest virus has been blamed on consumption of some wild animals. Ebola spread due to consumption of bush meat. If I recall, SARS is a subtype of this coronavirus and many Chinese people are already pointing fingers at some in Wuhan who consumed wild possum or another animal. Government authorities need to seriously look into creating some laws about this even if we ignored the risks, it's still poor behaviour from a small group of people who insist on dining on wild and "exotic" animals. Southerners are particularly bad but most still prefer seafood which is standard and mostly ocean sources so wild by default.
What the hell is a Chinese virus
And most Indians don’t even know they’re sick
The Bird flu issue comes from a mix of pheasant in close proximity to live stock normally Pork then high density humans population a rapid Mobility.
It’s the equation that set in place the so called Spanish influenzas of the early 20th century. Where birds horses Pigs and Human soldiers at the front line directly interact.
The flu transmitted from chickens or pigeons to pigs used to feed the troops and then the cooks to the soldiers who were packed in to the dug outs went to the front than returned to the rear and then returned home and it spread.
Another issue is that diagnosing the disease is fairly costly and many hospitals in rural or third tier cities might not have the ability to diagnose. It is highly possible that a lot more people are infected with the disease. Otherwise the number infected wouldn't have jumped in such a short period of time.
200 is not a large number for a country the size of China. Those are very unlikely to be actual new infected cases, just people who were already infected when the first case was reported, and are only now being discovered.
That's what I meant. Since the symptoms are close to that of flu a lot of people probably aren't properly diagnosed.
Of all the time for a new deadly virus to raise it's ugly head it has to choose the time of the greatest human migration on earth. Thousands of people packed tightly onto planes, trains, cars and ships is a recipe for potential disaster.
The sky is not falling. There's no evidence that this new virus is anymore dangerous than the dozen or so existing flu strains already out there.
