If the UAVs are popping up like wildfire in China, one thing that we can be sure is that the Chinese are definitely focused on UAVs. Such intense focus and investment of resources will undoubtedly generate quality products and stimulate innovation. This is expected because of extensive competition among all these different companies. This is usually a good sign of an industry getting mature.

We can not deny the US military introduced a lot of new concepts and they built prototypes and early generation products. But, overall in the context of UAV, competing with US is a low order. Take DJI as example, so much more can be done in UAV as both military and civilian use. UAVs are really mobile robots. I think it is up to China to bring UAV of all forms to everyday use.

Personally I think UAVs including unmanned boats, fighting each other, will be the first gen robot warfare, and possibly reduces the needs of human direct fighting to a large degree.

6000 m around Lhassa Gonggar short :) the base is to 4000 m 30 km around up to 6000 m ... ;) BTW unusual base with views :cool: with altitude necessary very long runway 4 km one have one of 5 km !
i learn about China spying also ofc :)

NANCHANG -- Three unmanned helicopters made test flights recently on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, authorities said Thursday. The AV500W conducted firing tests at an altitude of 4,300 meters in Qinghai province on Nov 18, according to Jiangxi provincial office of science, technology and industry for national defence.

At 4,600 meters above sea level, on Nov 9, XM20 multi-rotor drone took off and landed with a full payload.

The AV500 climbed to an altitude of 5,006 meters during tests on Oct 31, the maximum achieved by a domestically-made unmanned helicopter.

The three have applications in counter-terrorism, drug policing, border patrols, meteorology and mapping.

The aircraft were developed by a helicopter research and development institute in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi province, owned by the Aviation Industry Corporation of China.

The institute began work on unmanned helicopters in 2004.

According to the Chinese military's official newspaper, military drones recently conducted a "day and night" strike exercise in the west of the country. 10 ammunition, including laser-guided bombs, were used under the effect of jamming and all hit their targets.

What are you actually trying to say? Is it that Arab people are all automatically "bad" by your personal standards? Honestly I don't know how some of your posts are not flagged and deleted more often. Few actually understand what you are trying to say and most people just ignore you to give you the illusion that your statements are validated. As soon as people had enough and point things out, you take that as an offence and attack on you.

Please explain more thoroughly what you mean by the statement I quoted. As far as we know, the drones sold to ME nations are to recognized governments. Just because you don't like these governments or people does not make them the "true bad guy". I hope France isn't filled with people like you, always separating others and making them feel left out. An enforced Arab apartheid by French governments in the past is partly responsible for the high levels of radicalisation.

Selling to bad guys? Saudi Arabia, Iraq, UAE, Egypt... all allies of the US. I've never read stories of how the rich Arab countries made their fortunes from China.
