Ehang 184, the world's first passenger drone

    http://www.dezeen.com/2016/01/07/ehang-184-worlds-first-automated-passenger-drone-ces-2016/

Somehow reminds me of the joke "cutting off your legs to fit in".

I don't know if this will work. I mean if something is wrong a pilot on the aircraft would fight for his life but someone on the ground control the plane? "I'm trying.. trying... uh screw it who cares."

    https://foreignpolicy.com/2016/01/14/meet-chinas-killer-drones/

This article tries to spin there were reliability issues on exported Chinese UAVs to which is why these videos are coming out only until now. I suppose we're going to start seeing these videos like HJ-8s in the Syrian conflict. I remember reading about how US drones flying in the Middle East crash a lot.

Anyone able to paste the article? Since its asking for a subscription to read it, and I refuse to pay any money to the FP.

That's what I thought. The truck was hiding in what looks like a dug out recess, so it could've been carrying some sizable catch of weapons.
