Yes, it is likely a missile, 11 Kg warhead certainly looked like it. As I said, it was either a small missile or a guided bomb.

My mistake; I should've read your post more clearly. I thought the only weapon being mentioned was the 50 kg variant of the LS-6. Anyways, my apologies.

A 50 kg LS-6 probably wouldn't be the first choice when collateral damage needs to be minimized, as it is satellite-guided and hence a tad less accurate than laser-guided weapons.

The 50kg LS-6 and 100kg LS-6 variants have an optical guidance seeker to supplement its satellite guidance.
I'm not sure if that EO seeker on its nose is EO matching, or if it is semi active laser guided... but if I had to bet I'd say semi active laser guidance makes more sense. But EO matching would also yield quite accurate targeting results to minimize collateral damage as well... so the weapon used could definitely be a 50kg LS-6.

Probably first official strike but most certainly not the first combat use of Chinese UCAV. Nigerians could have been the first ones to actually take out targets with Chinese drone.

If the Pakistani Burraq is license built CH-3 or heavily influenced by CH-3, then this news is the first time (open prove) of Chinese (derivative) UCAV's combat usage.
I googled pictures of Burraq and CH-3, I cannot tell the difference except their markings.

Now---would I create some fuss if I stated that the " innards " of these vehicles are copies of some " drones " that fell inside of pakistan awhile back and were pretty much intact except for some surface damage---.

I take you as making a joke. :) So there won't be a fuss. We all know how close the Sino-Pak coorperation is.

    Hi,

I am not joking----not all the pretty babies were returned---and not all were destroyed after they fell from the skies---.

The only thing that was returned was the helicopter----but most of its smaller pieces went missing.

now you made me lost. Are you still talking about Burraq and CH-3? What do you mean by the "some drones that fall in Pakistan awhile back"? What "not returned pretty babies" are you talking about. I don't find any drones outside Pakistan and China that resambles Burraq or CH-3.

The helicopter you mentioned, I assume is the stealthy blackhawk. You imply that its pieces was somehow ended up in China. True or not, that is only relevant to "Burraq/CH-3" if "Burraq/CH-3" is a "copy" of something from a third party, but they are not.
