Chinese UAV/UCAV development

Reportedly something about the latest Chinese UAV developments in the newspaper "China Aviation News"...

Maybe someone can help me out with a better Translation or summary but this is what I was able to collect from several diffent links:

* 2 types of drone built by GAIC are currently in test flight in an air base in the Northwestern China
* The first team arrived August 19, 2014, the 2nd 2 September and 3rd October 16
* For one of the drones, "technicians entered the air inlet to check blades"
* Between November 12 and December 3, there is flight testing every day
* One of the test flights lasted "all day and all night, under a temperature of –30 ° C"



Any idea what drones are meant ? The Soaring Dragon II or Lijiang ??

It was your typical propaganda piece that nobody knows for sure what they are referring to. It was definitely UAVs, so your guesses are probably as good as any.

sorry my bad. When I say "your propaganda" I mean by China's aerospace industry's propaganda. Now reading back again, I see how that could sound pretty harsh.

Nice image ... by the way just the be sure: this type of UACV is NOT in operational use within the PLAAF ?!! (since the PLAAF uses the GJ-1) ... or am I wrong ?
