Yes me too. I think it would be a great contribution for any air force that has to balance needs and budget problems.

The variant B, supersonic and with PESA radar could be a great temporary solution for the old Argentine air force, which is not even a shadow of what it knew to be.

Chinese are cheap! Haven't you read Crazy Rich Asians?
Not lnly still flying but also still in production... that is a real contradiction: on the one side stealth fighters and on the other still not a decent trainer.

Banter aside, it's quite likely there's not much to be change on the aerodynamic design of an easy-to-fly propeller trainer aircraft from that time to present time. I'm sure instrumentation and engine of the trainer are already modernised. On the other hand, a trainer with seat ejection capability may require an entirely new design from scratch. Then again, does any of the modern propeller trainer has seat ejection? Probably not.

Come on !?? If you look at other Airforces flying very much more modern types like the DA-20 from Diamond, or others there's surely a lot to change and especially the mentioned flight instrumentation. ... and something like the PC-21 is also still missing!
