Ahh you beat me to it! Good for PLAN fans to see the design coming from a real builder instead of a fan-boi. If anyone has better pictures than those posted in navyreco link please post!

That FFG looks very much like the Turkish MILGEM corvette, Turkey spent a lot of time studying the frontal cross section and designs to reduce it and the current MILGEM came out on top, looks like China has also picked it up, BTW Freedom Class influenced the MILGEM a lot too

Turkish MILGEM is more sloped though

This LHD design is disappointingly small, only enough space for 4 takeoff spots and only 1 elevator, and it does not look like it has a well deck assuming the model is accurate. I would label it a true 'DDH helicopter destroyer' instead of a LHD!

I agree ^^^She's just a little larger than an old USN Okinawa class LPH. Not very large. Looks like a good design. I'd like to see more photos or a schematic before I make any more comments.

If you actually took the time to read the article you would see that
The CSOC representative confirmed the presence of a well-deck for amphibious operations but declined to comment on it capacities or specifications.

And you can see the outlines of the well deck door, again at the link:

Makes for a good followup feature to have on a 054B if there will be one.

The caption for the model actually says "LANDING PLATFORM DOCK", LPD. It looks like a small LHD to me though.

I think that makes this ship 2 hangar decks + 3 well decks + 2 engine room decks = minimum 7 decks from lowest deck to flight deck.

Oops, my bad, I completely missed the article so anxious was I to check out the photos! I see now that the article says the LHD has a well deck and is exclusively for export, that's less disappointing but it's still small. My DDH comment earlier was meant to be humorous!

So...the sub and the frigate are to be new modular designs that the onboard weapons and sensor suites will be fitted according to customer's choices, so for the models shown it's only the hull designs that matters, right?

For the LPD (they said) that's more a baby LHD...that's a strange niche because most countries that has the need for such vessels would either have their own shipbuilding capabilities to build one themselves, or rich enough to buy from Western countries' shipbuilder with experience to build ships such as those. CSOC might have a hard time to win against the competition here.
