Well, despite talk of the aircraft landing...I have not seen a legitimate photo of it, or seen any legitimate announcement of them being in China by the PLAAF or PRC.

Until these things happen, I will continue to presume that they did not take place.

It's all some sort of really weird story that makes no sense.

If the Chinese bought them, and they landed and are in PLAAF colors, I would expect to be able to see them. The SU-35 at this pint is not some super secret thing. It's not like they created a new super laser or rail gun system that is ready to be placed on ships, or one on aircraft that they do not want anyone to know about.

it's not like they have created an ion drive system for aircraft that can take off from the ground and readily fly into space, circumvent the globe and then come down on foreign soil to attack or reak havc.

This is SU-35s fom Russia we are talking about, aircraft that have been a round a long time we are talking about.

Until I see sourced, non-faked SU-35s with PLAAF markings and hear the PLAAF or PRC officials talking specifically about them and saying, here are our new airraft that we purchased from the Russians...and then point to these pics...I simply will continue to believe, for whatever reason it has not happened yet.

Honestly; I am probably the one who most eagerly wants to get such an image too especially with their serials fully visible, however both images posted so far are real, they are blurred but not artificially manipulated or faked. So for me that case is closed ... not sure, why You still cannot believe this !??

Anyway I share Your wait for clear images ...

I don't know what to think at this point...

Either way, I still hold my original position that I don't think this is a good deal. For whatever reason for China to buy the Su-35, they can attempt to achieve it themselves. It's not about ego or pride. I admit that China is still behind in many aspects of engine tech and still has a long way to catch up. It's about lowering your head and take the pain and get through it. You will become more mature when you come out at the other end.

Of course, the PLA does not care what I think and my opinion carries absolutely zero weight. But still, that's still my opinion.

We don't think it's a good deal because we are all thinking in a straight line as in technical abilities, engines etc and formed ROI strictly from that standpoint however I believe this deal is far more than that.

I am 99% sure there are also political maybe economic ramifications to the transaction. Ones which we may ever know about however whatever they were I'm sure it satisfied both parties thus the 'deal' was made.

I'm absolutely with the Head Master here. Something's "rotten in Denmark"! And no they're not in some hangar in pieces! LOL. When LockMart delivers an F-35 there are the little Victory celebrations? This is more like somebody kissed their buddies "ugly sister"?
