... but in this case i think i will have the last laugh, if i am wrong by April 2017 i will offer you an apology, personally and public for being you right, but if i am right ..... i know why you never wanted to admit you were wrong about this deal
What are you talking about, b787?

If the deal comes through, I will readily admit that it does. I have no problem with that.

I am just tired of hearing Russian reports about this deal (and others) that always have to slip, and get restated, over and over, and over again. I think there are many others on this foruim who feel the same.

Why?

It is because so many dates and statements have been made that later proved wrong that we have stopped believing them or having any confidence in them.

Even here.

When they make a very definitive statement that the first jets will be delivered "before the end of the year," even you, who are their best cheerleader have to indicate that it may be March 2017 instead of what they said.

If and when I see SU-35 aircraft in PLAAF colors, announced by the Chinese themselves, I will be happy to say that it is a done deal, and that the Russians and Chinese really did do it despite my own doubts.

But that will only be after they "proof" comes in the form of seeing the aircraft in PLAAAF colors announced by the Chinese.

Statements regarding this by the Russians just will not convince me any longer.

Yep, and that statement is by a Governor in a small Russian Satelite state and he is quoting RIA according to him??? not to promising, is it??
Khabarovsk is not a satellite, it is like you are saying the governor of Arkansas is a satellite of the USA, come on, he is a Russian, who is governor of a Russian region in Siberia in a Knaapo plant, basically he was giving the speech in from of the workers of Knaapo a Sukhoi daughter company

wait... the reports said China will get 4 Su-35 by the end of 2016 which means the deadline is 31-Dec-2016. You gave a date of March 30, 2017 is still 3 months later! So it's a bit more than 6 months from now, can I join the bet? I hope mods won't ban all of us because of this sh*t!

we are not betting money, but December i will not consider a Max date, the reason, is always something can come up, when Russian aircraft are delivered you usually have pictures of the aircraft previous to the delivery, like the Yak-130 to Belarus or the Su-30SM to kazakhstan, i am only offering an apology, if you are right, only that, but if you are wrong you will to me offer me an apology too, because if i am right then the history of the deal is the Chinese asked Russia about the Su-35 and by 2012 they signed a preliminary agreement, in 2015 they signed the contract and by end 2016 they will deliver 4, i set the date by march because the pictures might come in January or February, but by the end March there is no excuse in the case i am wrong to say to you wait, that is fair.

But if i am right i will laugh about the non sense you were saying which is really ridiculous to the degree of saying is a PR ploy by Sukhoi, and all the none sense you discuss in this thread when you have already a delivery date.

Let us see who is right me a hardcore fan of Russian aviation or you the hardcore fans of american and Chinese aviation

If there is no news by November of this year (Zhuhai, where the Su-35 will make another appearance), there is slim chance that the deal will go through by March of next year.
