Chinese purchase of Su-35

Exactly.

Perhaps there will be four SU-35s in Chinese hands by the end of this year.

I will only believe it when the Chinese make an OFFICIAL announcement themselves and I see SU-35s in PLAAF colors.

Accoding to this "According to a statement," statement...we should know within three months.
The likelihood you see them is very very high, they are quoting this time, the Governor of the Khabarovsk while opening an aviation plant, the likelihood they are lying is almost nil, because it is coming from officials

Komsomolsk-on-Amur aviation plant (KnAAZ) Yuri Gagarin before the end of 2016 China will be supplied four Su-35 of 24 as prescribed in the contract. This was reported today the Governor of the Khabarovsk Territory Vyacheslav Shport.
"During the period from 2016 to 2018 provides for the manufacture and shipment of 24 Su-35 to China in 2016, is scheduled to deliver four aircraft to China.", - Said Shport, speaking at the opening of the new shop machining of aluminum alloys (machining production) on KnAAZe.

Sorry, to play again the devil's advocate ...but how often did any Russian "officials" say anything that did not come true ??? (the sex carrier battle groups to be ready in 2020 are an example, this latest 6th generation stealth fighter too, ohh, theres's another such "official" leak callng fo a supersonic mega-transport and an stratosphere hypersonic bomber sooon !)

As such, I prefer remain patient until a Su-35 in PLAAF colours appears.

somethings are projects, but Su-35 is not a project Russia has more than 48 of these aircraft, the aircraft is in production, the likelihood the report is false is close to nil,

The video shows Shport and shows the plant that supplies parts for Su-35 and T-50, the report comes from what Shport said that day.

I am not here to convince you, but the possibility you are right is very very low

I am sure that between December 2016 and March 2017 you will see them, you can keep your skepticism, but from my point of view, your chances of being right are dim.
Very likely we will see them soon

However we hear too much of such news that we no longer believe it unless there is some hard evidence, and the best evidence is Su-35 flying in PLAAF color.

I agree. Russia has cried wolf way too many times. I'll believe it when there is either official announcement from PLAAF (probably during Zhuhai if true) or images of Su-35s with PLAAF paint-job appear.

Wait a minute.

The report/post you gave us that generated this conversation said the following:

Article said:
The first four Su-35 fighter jets from a 24 aircraft arms deal between the two allies are to be delivered before the end of the year...
But the end of the year is very specific. It is not January, February, or March of 2017. it is before the end of December 2016.

...and yet here you are now already injecting slippage into it for a full quarter.

Almost sounds like you yourself are doubtful of them meeting the very easily understood deadline they set for themselves.

This is why most of us have simply come to the conclusion that we will only believe it when we see the aircraft in China painted in Chinese colors and officially accepted by the Chinese.

If that happens before the end of the year...great, bully for them!

But given their track record of so many things they have said that have simply not happened...I am not holding my breath.

...and from what you just wrote, hehehe, is does not sound like you are holding yours either.

Not to reject the possibility of Su-35 sale, but we have witnessed that slippage for years. I really hope someone who (not pointing solely at b787) always come up with these news to keep their words and make it happen, so we all can settle it once for all and move on.

I am not a prophet, and by that i mean i do not know the future with 100 percent accuracy, thus i give a time frame to see the aircraft between Now and march 2017.

Usually once a jet is delivered by Sukhoi, there are statements made by them in their official page, same is with Rostec.

The video i posted, which is in Russian, has the opening of the aircraft parts aluminium plant for the Su-35 and the Governor Shport speech and interview.

you are free to believe whatever pleases you, but the Russian statements do not come now about talks but deliveries, not even signing contracts but deliveries so the likelihood your position is right is really low, who is right? well we will see, i am a person who gives apologies if i am wrong, but in this case i think i will have the last laugh, if i am wrong by April 2017 i will offer you an apology, personally and public for being you right, but if i am right ..... i know why you never wanted to admit you were wrong about this deal
