Chinese navy helps evacuation in Yemen

It looks like that the presence of PLAN in the ME starts to pay off by giving china the ability to evacuate its citizen. Will china be the big "evacuating power" in the ME where it can sail into war zones without combatants firing at them?
Do you think that the result would be the same if a USN ship have come insted or would every yemen rebel fire everything that the got at a USN ship?

It is natural for a naval ship to answer the requests of foreign governments if commanded to do so by their own government.

So no, there is no reason to believe the PLAN will be any kind of go-to evacuating force because virtually any naval ship can respond to requests, and the USN has a much bigger presence there for larger scale evacuations if requested upon.
