    Im looking for specific information regarding Chinese Mountain units. Specifically information and photos on personal equipment, training, weapons, unit equipment and any specific, specialized units dedicated to Mountain warfare. Conventional or unconventional in nature..

    Chinese Mountain units not open to public yet,most were stationed at Si Chuan and Tibet.There r few pix about this mysterious unit on the Internet.

    This is extremely high...well over 17,500 feet. No wonder in the one picture you see the personnel with Oxygen.

    Tough duty station/post that.

    I see the horses ( mules ? ) used among vegetation. I wonder to what altitude these animals are used.
    Also I expect the neighbours, India, Pakistan, still use animals but to what extend?
