Cant really fathom a large scale land war over the Himalayas. I consider the prospect of land warfare between the two nations an element of Indian PTSD from 1962.
I don't think China would go to war with India because a war will be terrible for its economy and even if they did the Chinese are better armed, better trained, and better funded although both countries suffer from corruption
