Amazing, and hair raising video of Chinese Naval (PLAN) Ka-28 helicopter landing on a Type 054A frigate in bad weather:

That wss very nearly disasterous...twice. I am sure the pilot and crew were glad to finally be down on the deck of that frigate safe and sound. Also, that is a LOT of deck hands running out there to assist.

Hey Jeff, wouldn't the wheels from the helicopter would have slide off from the deck after landing, considering the bad weather and all that motion?
The landing deck of a frigate or destroyer, like that of a carrier, is covered with a very heavily textured non-skid material to prevent this. It may look "smooth," but its not.
Take a look at the deck in the foreground.
It may bounce, but it will not slide very easily at all. Have to really watch foro ice in the colder climes, but most had anti-icing equipment and procedures too.
