Yes but that meant Germany is stuck having to buy only over price jet engines from the US and EU.

Great. Who is the customer? It is a clear indication that China has already deployed much more modern anti-ship missile in coastal defense, YJ-18 variant.

Is it possible that this missiles (YJ-62 or C-602) were actually from Chinese inventory that been replaced with YJ-18 variant ?

The US blocking Germany from buying from China I believe is a WTO violation. It's not like Germany is selling something to China. There's no national security implications. That means the reason is economic. Do we see countries telling the US what they can buy or sell to and from another country? So I doubt US is in a position to block the deal even if they wanted to.

well, if the US did ask Germany to do that ... Germany would have no option but to follow what the US says/asks ... similar to Japan

Is it fair? I don't know and I don't care ... Life is not fair anyway

Germany is not Japan.

Germany is the defacto leader of the European Union as it is the only country with a veto due to its budget contributions. Note the EU is an economic and industrial bloc comparable in size to the USA.

Furthermore, the EU is economically 10x larger than Russia, which is the prime military threat.

In comparison, Japan cannot compete with China, which is already much larger

Considering the Royal Thai Army also operates T-84 Oplot-M, thats a very positive assesment of the VT-4. Good job NORINCO.
