Don't know, haven't seen it, but it should.

The thing is that CJxxxx was more like a code name of development program. All ACAE's engine eventually would be labeled in this way, 1st letter represents A(CEA), 2nd is E(ngine), 3rd is type F(an)/P(ropeller)/S(haft), 4 following digits should be class of power or force(3500 => 3500kw or 350kn or 35 ton-force).

Well, AEF1250 doesn't seem to get any relevant hits on either Google or Baidu, so the name change appears not to have been effected yet :)

Maybe because CJ-1000A model was not shown in Zhuhai 2018? If it was I would assume it will be labeled in the same manner.

[Correction] It should be AECC (Aero Engine Corporation of China) instead of ACEA. AECC was founded May 2016 before CJ-1000A was last exhibited during 2012 Zhuhai airshow.

If it does eventually get a product number, it would probably be AEF1400 because the official spec is 14000kgf.

Just since we tangled this issue in the new naval fighter thread concerning a possible FC-31V3, can anyone give a summary of the WS-13's status??

From what is said, the WS-13 is officially ready, even in production but IMO not confirmed or even unlikely. So to admit, the WS-13 is a mystery like the similar rated WP-14 Kunlun once. There are reports that a FC-1/JF-17 flew with it in 2010/11 ... there are even reports via Jane's that current production models are using it already but I don't think so. The next we know that the FC-31V1 flew with two different engines in 2014, one said to be a WS-13 replacing one RD-93, but again nothing confirmed.

Did I miss anything?

Unsure of its credibility, but would be significant news regarding the WS-15 if true.

Could someone do a comprehensive translation/summary of the two posters below? One of them mentions that three batches of the WS-15 have been produced or are in production and that the third batch has won an award. Perhaps this implies that batches 01 & 02 have been built and thoroughly tested.

It would be interesting to search for publications related to these awards, such as publications that the award receiver is one of the authors. From the publication we can tell when the work started. Then we know how long it has been etc.

According to some posters on cjdby, these are youth research projects (or something like that), so not necessarily actual cutting-edge work.
If I am not mistaken, the top title is "Youth Research", that is to say, these are the subjects declared by young people and then won the prize, is not a Heavyweight award project, do not expect from here what can be large material
Yes, and all three of these topics are mechanical, and this type of research topic is run by modeling and simulation software, without relying on physical

Probably WS-20? If it's CFM56-ish (BPR 4-6) as rumoured it's what I'd nowadays describe as a medium bypass ratio engine - high bypass these days is >8 really (CJ-1000A, for example). With a two-stage HPT it's almost certainly not going to be the WS-15, which will probably adopt a single-stage HPT for weight and inertia reasons.

EDIT: actually, the two-stage HPT excludes the WS-20 too, doesn't it? The WS-10 core has a single-stage HPT as well. Hmm...

2. What does it mean by cooling blade (冷却叶片)? Should it be blade cooling (叶片冷却) instead?

That would be my guess. Or "cooled blade"?
