After retiring from a life-long career in mechanical engineering, Guo became fascinated with making a helicopter ten years ago. Guo, who is in his eighties, said he had spent about 60,000 yuan ($870) on the creation and visited the Harbin Aircraft Industry three times for advice. Hmmm, I believe 60,000 Yuan would be ~$10,000...
