Cash spill litters Hong Kong freeway, with predictable results
On Wednesday, a security van driving through the Wan Chai area of Hong Kong spilled three crates of HK$500 (US$65) bills, sending cash flying across eight lanes of the Gloucester Road freeway. Traffic, of course, ground to a halt.

Local media says that some $2 million (U.S.) worth of filthy lucre is missing, The New York Times reports. "Anyone who picked up the cash concerned should hand it over to the police as soon as possible," Wan Siu-hong of the Hong Kong police told reporters. "Otherwise, they may have committed the crime of theft." The security company isn't sure how the money got out of the van, but "we believe the money was dropped," Wan said. Is that you, Santa Claus?
