doesn't need to spliced. the shell hit the thinly armored ammo compartment in the back of the turret. ammo propellant cook off, vent through the blow off panel. you can see at least one turret crew escaping.
Ah, so it's a hit from behind. I was assuming the guy firing was facing the front of the tank.
Also, it looks the the tank got hit at least twice. The first gif I think shows it being hit a second time after the ammo had already finished cooking off. The smoke is already there and we no longer see the cloth cover like with the other two gifs.
It looks like the separating layer between the ammo compartment coupled with the blow-off hatch saved at least one crew member though.

take out the the period after h
the first hit that caused the ammo cook-off by a Metis ATGM. the recoil less rifle hit after the tank has been disabled already.
