In the mean time, Xi meets DPRK's WPK friendship visiting group lead by NK's deputy party chief.

So here is the line of event,
    1. Few days earlier Kim meet Xi in Dalian.
    2. Yesterday Kim cancelled meeting with ROK and threatened to cancel the summit with Trump in protest of the continuation of military drill in the south.
    3. Today Xi welcomed the deputy party chief of NK.
    It seems
    1. Kim's movement yesterday was coordinated with Xi during their meeting.
    2. The two sides are fulfilling their pledge to boost regular and high level exchange.

This is a troubled world with bullies, arrogant & ignorant leaders with hawkish advisors (Trump Administration?). The Chinese Sage Chuang Tzu's wise words need pondering by those in power: "I do not know what is the benefit of a war in which you slaughter the soldiers and the people of the other country and occupy the land of the other country to satisfy your personal desire and spirit". The Trump & Kim anticipated meeting (now in jeopardy) should take place IF Common Sense Prevails. It will be for the good of the people of the Korean Peninsular, the region and the World at large. "Jaw jaw Not War war".

Trump has blinked. Kim is a strategic "Chess Player". As a lecturer/trainer (still active) in Cross-Cultural Negotiation Skills & Int'l Biz, I reiterate that We East Asians are way ahead when negotiating with others. I observed the moves made by N Korean leader, and they signify an experienced "Chess Player". "Noises" came from the other party. Confucius, Sun Tzu and a few Chinese sages are excellent teachers. As the game plans unfold, we will observe whether "Win Win" results can be achieved by the Kim & Trump. Btw, in negotiations "Win Win" does not necessarily mean 50/50 ... it could be 40/60 for some areas etc. BUT they must seen as achieving mutually beneficial results by both US and N Korea. In the business & politics, the Chess Games" are continous. Happiness & Satisfaction could also be short lived. For the sake of the people on both sides of the divide, there should be interim satisfactory agreements.... hopefully long term solutions will come about, aimed at Peace & Prosperity of the respective countries & people; and Our Region.
