When you get bored of fb games, and your friends aren't responding, and there's nothing new that's interesting on fb, naturally you'll end up here. At least here at SDF, there will always be some idiots trying to make stupid remarks..(then the typical phenomenon will be all the old-timers flock around this person and engage themselves in a psychological war of attrition until eventually this invader/troll has been "exiled" from the community, which then the "SDF world" is at peace once again)
These days the emergence of new toys like the J-10, J-11, J-15,Z-10, and especially the carrier, J-20, and DF-31 made SDF a very interesting place to be. I think we can also say another reason why we're always here is because we're always waiting for those new photos and official stories of those progress.
I think someone should start a sinodefence facebook page. However I think popeye is gonna be upset.

As soon as that happens, the forum can get quite busy real soon, and he'll be dealing with a lot of kids and bashers coming in with COD knowledge and prestige.
Why are you so negative? Greater publicity for sinodefence may also mean that we'll be able to educate more of those kids/bashers and help them become mature, responsible individuals.

No, I don't believe that Facebook is for girls. I repeating popeye's statement in a sarcastic sort of way, cause I thought it was funny. I can see its merits, but there's just no one I can't already contact without it.
And if by "new people" you mean younger people or something, that's not a statement entirely without merit. Here's a little fun fact. I remember reading that even those just a little younger than the current generation of 20 somethings, maybe only 5 years younger, already show differences in the technologies they choose to communicate . For example, E-mail usage was especially low amongst them, with things like Facebook being favored, while 20 something's usually used both 50-50. Tech just moves so fast now.

I don't mind, really, because these days not only I love this forum, I find all those bashers who come in always ended up getting banned...but not before we teach them a strong lesson about how outdated their thoughts are. Also I find them amusing and entertaining., particularly the fact that whereas in other forums they won't get banned and perhaps they feel so great about themselves, in this forum they have to pay for being stupid. There's a lot of Gordies and Yahoo!Answers armchair generals out there, and by inviting them into here, they have no idea what tehy're gonna get.
By the way, there's a SDF fan page out there already LOL, but only 7 fans or so

They have yet to see the merits of email, but i can definitely say, that facebook is more htan just myspace; it will soon become a new cyber world where having a biological entity is not enough: u need a virtual identity too. this is especially if the world continues to advance towards that information era path.

.It takes time for stereotypes to go away. You and I could defend Chinese technology all we want but it is really up to Chinese engineers to continuously innovate and create more awe inspiring products.

Glad you pointed it out. This is why I don't think SDF page is a good idea. What you've proven is pretty much the phenomena over at mp.net. I pretty much don't need to explain further. generally there's always positive correlation with the population of a community and the rates of incidents.
