Using Simulators to replace dangerous Live-Fire training is catching on, though it is in my humble opinion that you just can not replace that kind of training. Using this add might apeal to the computer geeks in China who dont realize that there is a whole lot more to do.
I suppose it could be used as a recruiting tool.
Im kind of a computer geek myself and didnt think the above game was badly done. People are still expected to fire live shots in real training just like a punching bag is better than shadow boxing and a sparring partner is better than a punching bag and so on.

Anyways PLA probably uses CS to train or even America's Army... once the video game code is realsed they can easily mod it
