It is a J-16D but I don't know why they have desaturate and blurred the image. We've had far better qulity leaks before.
the real "Snowbird!", Flankers always look good with a little snow, visibility looks to be a mile or a mile and a half tops, and the ceiling looks like around 500 ft, so very solid IFR day...that's why we need allweather fighters!
And from the same series of images all taken at Wuhu, where the 7th AR (with J-16) and the 9th AR (like these Su-30MKK) is based, are these two J-16 images....

I don't think it is Boss, Check out the paint and those decals on equipment,,, if they were J-16's, (1-2 years old), that stuff would be crispy and new looking, that paint on the instrument hood appears to have "oxidized", and has a soft chalky looking appearance, not like hard smooth new non-reflective gray???
correct me if I'm wrong, but I've been in enough cockpits to recognize "shop-worn"??? but hey, I'm the AFB, I could always be wrong, cause I'm a Brat...

J16 replacing fighters at these brigades not necessarily full strength exclusive J16 units
For example 98th only started receiving J16 recently to replace J11
Also there is few units at
Tactical training centre 175th
And flight test and training base 176th
J16 numbers more like 60-70 units
