...yeah, it's a J-16.
Surely this must be one of the serial production planes, ready to be delivered soon.
We've had previous pics of J-16 with the same features... the new picture may even be the same aircraft from before

Not sure... ite seems like the new pic J-16 look darker to me. Maybe because it was from the top looking down. The older pic more from the under side. And some red markings was missing from the new pic right under the cockpit, maybe it photoshoped somewhat? Not fake.. but just removing some of the markings.
The difference in darkness can be due to a number of reasons such as the lighting when the picture was taken, lens flare, or the original photographer deliberately modifying the original picture to make it appear lighter so as to obscure certain features.
I think it's pretty obvious that the paint scheme and general paint features on both aircraft are the same save for a few small differences. The paint scheme pattern isn't new.
Still don't know why the J-16 has yet to enter production. Engine problems again?
