Well turn out this DF 31AG is a new missile so the assumption that it is only 1 warhead might not be right. It is hidden in a canister so we don't see the cone of the missile From Oedo
DF - 31AG participating in this parade, due to the release of the Liberation Military Information, a certain missile brigade stationed in the plateau, this brigade DF - 31AG was deployed for the first time last year, and the first trial was done in the early autumn of last year. Any one has comment?

DF-31G is a new step forward to a more modern, "Topol" type mobile ICBM system.
New canister with an integrated LAD and thermostatic system.
Much like early DF-21 compared with "C" variant or DF-26.
Probably, a new version of the missile itself.

Not quite cheap. Look at what the UK plans to spend on its replacement Trident force while it cannot pay for an adequate health service or a sufficient police force.

Well, nuclear weapons are not cheap by themselves, what I tired to say is its best to retire ones that does offer the best deterrence and keep the one that does, this way you only need to build a few hundred to maybe 1000 warheads instead of what US and USSR did in cold war.

Also its pretty incredible that UK, France etc.. can afford SSBN in the first place, after all they are smaller country with limited budgets, its best they pool their nukes together and share the cost.

Also the lack of health care or police service is more to do with politics, there are tens of millions of poor people here in US that literally goes hungry each night, and just in my city alone there are probably 60k homeless people, while my government spends almost a trillion on defense each year.

Who would thought that homeless people would have less lobbying power than defense contractors lol

New missile? Maybe MIRV? Then the DF-31AG designation is pretty weird. There is almost always a clear progress in designation. From ICBMs like DF-5A to DF-5B to SRBM like DF-15A to DF-15C. In case of the DF-5 it is going from Single warhead to multiple warheads and in case of the DF-15 it is the type of warhead (regular, MaRV, bunker-buster, etc. )

Maybe it is a Topol to Topol-M like progression. Maybe still single warhead but completely resigned missile to evade BMD systems at any stage. Better shielding against directed energy weapons (Like ABL), Different propellant & higher acceleration, flatter trajectory, etc.

it is not a "Topol to TopolM like progression" :)
You don't seem to really understand the differece.

it's the first "Topol" type mobile ICBM system, try to read carefully and undersdand the meaning of my previous comment.

Definitely not a DF-41 truck. In the DF-41 TEL the canister divides the drivers section because of the tube length (similar to the DF-26).

DF-31A and DF-31AG are there to supplement the DF-41. DF-31A and DF-31AG carry a single 1 MT warhead with penetration aids. Any DF-31 with MIRV will be designated DF-31B similar to the DF-5A becoming DF-5B. An MIRVed DF-31B will still be limited in the number of warheads and yields of those warheads (Max 3x 150 kt warheads). DF-41 on the other hand will eventually replace the Silo based liquid fueled DF-5 series. DF-41 is designed to carry 10x 150kt or 6x 650kt warheads.

There are only a small number of DF-41 in-service. 2 launchers have been spotted from what I remember and there maybe 6 - 8 in service (speculation).
.

Your certain ?

Your certain ?

Nope :D. Definitely not certain but it seems odd why they named it DF-31AG instead of DF-31B if it is specifically MIRV. This is the 1st time i've seen such a designation. Even the DF-21 anti-ship version is designated DF-21D. MIRV version of DF-5A is designated DF-5B. So why is it different this time?

Huh? o_O I wasn't even replying you

When I said "Topol" to "Topol-M" I was simply speculating progress of DF-31A to DF-31AG might be like "RS-12M Topol" to "RT-2PM2 Topol-M" in-terms of the missiles they carry and not the TEL.
