EAST CHINA SEA (Oct. 26, 2018) Seaman Jennifer Diazaguirre uses a sound powered telephone to contact the bridge of the amphibious dock landing ship USS Ashland (LSD 48) during a replenishment-at-sea (RAS) with the fleet replenishment oiler USNS Tippecanoe (T-AO 199). Ashland, part of the Wasp Amphibious Ready Group, is operating in the Indo-Pacific region to enhance interoperability with partners and serve as a ready-response force for any type of contingency.
